4. August 1998 The final programme of the seminar on "Convergence in the Digital Age: Challenges for Libraries, Museums and Archives" is now available on this site. There are also links to regsitration forms etc.
1. July 1998 CEN/ISSS, a recently established initiative in CEN, is creating a workshop to start a European standards activity within the area of Cultural Heritage On-line. You will find details of this workshop at the ISSS Web site http://www.cenorm.be/isss/Workshop/CHOL/welcome.html
7. April 1998 On 13 and 14 August 1998 in Amsterdam, a seminar on "Convergence in the Digital Age: Challenges for Libraries, Museums and Archives" will be held with support from the EU’s Telematics for Libraries. The seminar is a satellite event of this year’s IFLA General conference which takes place in Amsterdam from 16 to 21 August 1998

22. November 1997 New on-line questionnaire added. Representatives of Cultural heritage Institutions, multimedia projects and other interested parties are encouraged to enter information about IT standards and requirements.
4. September 1997 Launch of this Musea site dedicated to Information Technology standards within the Cultural Heritage Sector. This site is hosted by Portia System I/S on behalf of the Musea project group established by EWOS and CEN/ISSS in 1997.
